The Course Experience
If you’re running the full or half marathon, you’ll start at Johnnie Mercers Fishing Pier in Wrightsville Beach. From there, you’ll pass coastal stretches, lively neighborhoods and cheering spectators before crossing the finish at Live Oak Bank Pavilion in Historic Downtown Wilmington. Aid stations, live entertainment (including the Music and DJ Zone at mile 6.5) and plenty of post-race food options will help you stay energized on the course and recover at the finish.
Glow Run and 5K runners start downtown at Live Oak Bank Pavilion and loop around Sawmill Point Marina. The 5K adds some extra distance along the Wilmington Riverwalk, so you can enjoy classic waterfront views.
